H.E.L.P. (Healing Engaging Life & Peace) is a safe place to come and talk about navigating life as we deal with the issues of mental and emotional health that for so long have carried a stigma in the community. H.E.L.P. meetings are a place where you don’t have to have everything fixed before you walk through the door and it’s okay to not be okay.
It doesn’t matter if you carry a mental health diagnosis, or if it’s affecting a friend or your family, H.E.L.P. is a safe space to connect with others who understand the struggle. It’s okay if you’re not ready to share yet; sometimes we just need to be around people who get it.
H.E.L.P. is not a substitute for counseling, talk therapy, or medical services. God created us to survive this life and did not intend for us to do it alone. H.E.L.P. is a place where you are not alone and there is always someone to talk to.
